Bin ZHANG. Clinical distribution and drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa from ophthalmic disease[J]. .
Abstract: 【Abstract】Objective To master the clinical distribution and drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in eye hospital, to direct the doctor reasonably use the antibiotics. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed for the distribution and drug resistance of 40 Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains isolated from Eye hospital during Jan 2009-Dec 2012. Results The detection rate of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was 5.3% in eye hospital; ranking the first in the Gram-negative bacteria, most Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates were isolated from corneal ulcers(67.5%). This bacterium was high drug resistance rate to ampicillia/sulbactam, CoSMZ and cefotaxime(100%); and well sensitive to amikacin, polymyxin E, meropenem, piperacllin/tazobactam and tobramycin. Conclusions The drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in eye hospital is lower than them in general hospital, but it should strengthen the monitoring of drug resistance of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in order to reduce the emergence of multidrug-resistant strains.
