Low-temperature plasma treatment for epiglottis cyst under microscope (120 cases report)

Abstract: Abstract Objective  To explore the application under the microscope low-temperature plasma treatment epiglottis cyst of therapeutic effect, safety and application experience. Methods: Retrospective analysis I branch since June, 2008 to June, 2011 application low-temperature plasma treatment epiglottis cyst in 120 cases, the general endotracheal intubation, under the laryngoscope support, monitoring system in operation microscopes under low temperature plasma treatment epiglottis cyst application, observe the operation safety and efficacy. Results:All the group of 120 patients, average operation time (16.5±1.6)min, the first day of the mean pain score (3.6±0.5), average peri-operative bleeding (2.7±0.3)ml, only one case in the fourth day after mild ooze blood, average postoperative wound white film subsidise time (4.9±0.9)d, patients were followed up 6 ~ 12 months, no one was recurrence. Conclusion:Under the microscope low-temperature plasma treatment epiglottis cyst operation time is short, pain, small, perioperative, less bleeding, and the results were satisfactory, high safety, is a kind of very good operation.
