Using the reverse “Y” skin flap anoplasty treats perineal fistula in infants and discuss the theory evidence.

Abstract: Abstract: Objective: To evaluate clinical significant of the reverse “Y”skin flap anoplasty treats perineal fistula in infants and discuss the pathologic evidence. Methods: A retrospective chart review was performed on 29 patients (male: 25, female: 4) who were treated for the reverse “Y” skin flap anoplasty in our hospital between January 2008 and June 2010. Results: We fellow-up the patients for 6 months till 2 years. Overall, 93.1% of this group experienced good results. The new anus looks good, there is no constipation, prolapsed, soiling and incontinence happened in our group. Conclusions: The reverse “Y”skin flap anoplasty is easy to do, the new anus looks good, and the anal function recovers smoothly.
