Abstract: Abstract Objective: To investigate the relationship between osteoporosis of type 2 diabetes and its association with risk factors preliminarily. Methods: Selected a total of 100 male patients with type 2 diabetes who came to Endocrine department of the third affiliated Hospital of Liaoning Medicine College from April 2010 to April 2011 as the object of study.All the patients were divided into the normal bone quantity group (A group), the low bone quantity group (B group) and the osteoporosis group (C group) according to the lumbar vertebra bone density(The T value). To contrast 3 groups of patient's ages, BMI, disease duration, FPG, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), the blood fats, A-SAA、UAER, TNF-α, IL-6 and so on, and then carried on the relevant analysis .Results: (1)There was significant difference among threnn groups in the facets of ages, BMI, the course, FPG, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), the blood fats, A-SAA, UAER, TNF-α and IL-6.(p﹤0.05).(2)Multivariate correlation analysis of bone mineral density in patients with diabetes showed that BMD had negative correlation with age, disease duration, HbA1c, A-SAA、UAER, TNF-α and IL-6 (p <0.05), but had positive corelation with body mass index (BMI)(p﹤0.05).Conclusion: High blood sugar and the increased level of A-SAA, TNF-α and IL-6 are the risk factor for osteoporosis of diabetes.
