Abstract: Abstract Objective: To investigate the effects and safety of low molecular weight heparin combined with dextran-40 on pregnant women with oligohydramnios. Methods: A total of 73 pregnant women who were diagnosed as oligohydramnios were randomized into combined therapy group(n=21), low molecular weight heparin (LMWP) group(n=21) and control group(n=32). The combined therapy group was treated with 0.4 mL of LMWP and 500 mL of 5% dextran-40. LMPW group was treated with 0.4 mL of LMPW only. The control group was given 500 mL of 5% glucose infused with 40 mg of Adenosine triphosphate,0.4 g of carnine,100 u of coenzyme A and 250 mL of compound amino acids. Amniotic fluid index(AFI) and coagulogram markers were measured after a course. Results:The improvement rate were significant higher in combined therapy group(90.5%) and LMWP group(80.0%) than in control group(46.9%)(P<0.05), but there was no difference between these 2 groups(P>0.05). The average increasing volume of AFI was significant different between the 2 groups(P<0.05). The combined therapy group(4.41±0.63) was better than LMWP group(3.95±0.57). There was no difference in blood coagulation indication between before and after treatment in each group(P>0.05). Conclusion: LMWP combined with dextran-40 could improve volume of amniotic fluid effectively in patients suffered with oligohydramnios, and it was safe to both mothers and fetuses.
