Abstract: Abstract: objective: to summarize the clinical value of bronchial arterial embolization (BAE) of treating severe haemoptysis. Methods: selecting 45 cases with haemoptysis, retrospectively analyzed bronchial arteriography embolization of the abnormal bronchial arterial that hemorrhage with gelatin sponge or spring bolt . Results: 96% of all the 45 cases were hemostatic immediately postoperative ,did not appear serious embolizational complication. Conclusion: the bronchial arterial embolization of severe haemoptysis is an relatively effective and safe method of minimally invasive.
