Abstract: 【Abstract】 Objective: To observe the side effect of capreomycin(CPM) and the safety of using CPM continuty for six monthes.Methods: Investigate the side effect of 20 multi-drug resistant tuberculosis patients who had used CPM continuity for six monthes.Results:All of the 20 patients had side effects,the rat was 100%. Frequency of the side effects was seleroma,hypokalemia,renal injury,Ⅷ cranial nerve's injury, Phlebitis.The side effects frequently appeared after 2-4 months of treatment. After rapid treatment and active observation ,all of them had the treatment for six monthes,and none of them had any side effects on the next six monthes.Conclusion:The side effects appeared commonly of the patients who had used CPM continuity for six monthes,and the hypokalemia was more serious.But capreomycin is a safe anti- tuberculosis drug for multi-drug resistant tuberculosis(MDR-TB).
