Clinical analysis of autogenous bone graft harvested from circular saw plus plate internal fixation treated 40 cases of cervical spondylosis.

Abstract: Abstract: Purpose To analyze autogenous bone graft harvested from circular saw plus plate internal fixation treated single segment cervical spondylotic myelopathy. Method Retrospective study of 40 cases form 2001-3 to 2010-3 in our hospital. Results All patiens were followed up for (28.6±3.8) months. The average operative time was 90min; the average blood loss was 80ml; the average hospital day was 8.4 days; the average preoperative JOA score was 10.2; the average postoperative JOA score was 16.4; fitness rate was 92.5%; the average postoperative improvement rate was 91.5%. Conclusions Maybe it’s a safe and effective approach using autogenous bone graft harvested from circular saw plus plate internal fixation for single segment cervical spondylotic myelopathy..
