Abstract: Abstract: Objective To investigate the role and value of the biliary stent in the treatment of common bile duct huge stones. Methods 32 cases of common bile duct huge stones with oddi sphincterotomy underwent endoscopic stone extraction fails plastic biliary stenting, were followed up for 6 months. Results 32 patients were successfully placed biliary stents, postoperative jaundice, abdominal pain and other symptoms have been alleviated, six months after surgery underwent secondary ERCP, 32 cases of biliary stones in three cases of huge stones disappeared, 25 cases were reduced to varying degrees , 4 cases no obvious narrowing; Again will remove the residual stones, stone were successful, there are four cases still stone difficulties and continue to observe the drainage of biliary stent placement. The success rate of treatment of common bile duct huge stones by biliary stent is 87.5%. Conclusions The therapy of huge common bile duct stones by biliary stent is a simple, short operation time, fewer complications, results were satisfactory, safe and effective advantages.
