Clinical analysis of patients with delirium in the emergency room

Abstract: Objective To explore the etiology and clinical features of delirium patients in the emergency room.Methods To retrospective analysis the clinical data of 75 delirium patients who were conformed to DSM-Ⅳ delirium diagnosis standard.Results The first cause of non-elderly group was poisoned, while the first cause of the older group was a combination of factors. The hyperactive form of delirium is more common among non-elderly group,while the hypoactive form is more common among older group .Conclusion Delirium causes many clinical manifestations of the complex. Non-senile first need to consider poisoning, intracranial infections, senile delirium shall first consider a combination of factors, and they must attach great importance to the diagnosis of hypoactive delirium.
