Abstract: 【Abstract Objective】To explore the role of low molecular heparin in prevention of lower limb deep vein thrombosis (DVT) after abdominal operation. Methods we selected 70 cases who underwent abdominal operations, pre-operation exam included blood coagulation function, D2 polymer, bilateral low limbs vascular Doppler scanning. Those with thrombosis were excluded. The cases receive low molecular heparin were treatment group, which was given low molecular heparin 4100u, priumbilical subcutaneous injection, one daily, all for 3-5days. The rest without receiving low molecular heparin were the observation group. In post-operative day 7 or 8, all cases received bilateral low limbs vascular Doppler scanning. In both group, the rate of DVT and wound oozing were compared. Result the rate of DVT in treatment group was much lower than that of conversation group(P<0.05), the rate of wound oozing had no obvious difference. Conclusion in prevention of low limb deep vein thrombosis the low molecular heparin acts actively, we should pay more attention.
