Abstract: Objectives】: To dectect the Expression of the Granzym(Gzm) B mRNA in Peripheral blood mononuclear cells of preeclamptic patients. Methods: 32 cases of preeclampsia and 32 cases of normal pregnancy were selected as in random. RT-PCR is adopted to detect the expression of Gzm B mRNA in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells and its correlation with mean arterial pressure was analyzed in severe preeclamptic patients. Results:(1) The expression of Granzym mRNA level in severe preeclampsia group was 1.297±0.239, significant higher than those of control group 0.792±0.210, t=8.963 ,P<0.001. (2)Correlation analysis: The mean blood pressure in severe preeclampsia group was (133±5) mm Hg(1mmHg=0.133 kPa).There was significant positive correlation between level of Gzm B mRNA in PBMC and mean blood pressure in severe preeclamptic patients(r=0.693,P<0.001.).Conclusion: Expression of Granzym B was significantly increased in severe preeclampsia , and was of significant positive correlation with the mean blood pressure. Granzym B may participate in the pathogenesis of severe preeclampsia.
