Abstract

Abstract: As an important part of the protein C anticoagulant system, endothelial protein C receptor (EPCR) plays a critical role in the process of anti- coagulation and anti- inflammation. The presence of EPCR single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) affects the levels of soluble endothelial protein C receptor (sEPCR), and susceptibility to varieties of diseases. This article reviews the relationship between EPCR gene polymorphisms and thrombotic diseases， malaria， sepsis and other diseases.
