Abstract: Objective To discuss the possibility of recording His bundle potential beat-to-beat on body surface SANAtrial-AVN-His (Saah) electrocardiogram. Methods A total of 72 patients who underwent radiofrequency catheter ablation for supraventricular tachycardia were included in this study. Patients received conventional electrocardiogram and Saah electrocardiogram before the procedure of radiofrequency ablation. Intracardiac His bundle electrogram was recorded at sinus rhythm during radiofrequency ablation. Surface PA (PAs), surface AH (AHs) and surface HV (HVs) intervals recorded on Saah electrocardiogram and PA, AH, and HV intervals recorded on His bundle electrogram were comparatively analyzed. Results There was no significant difference between HVs interval (49.47 ms±5.94 ms) and HV interval (49.11 ms±6.24 ms, P>0.05). There were significant differences between PAs, AHs and PRs intervals and PA, AH and PR intervals [(31.54± 4.21) ms vs. (30.40±4.95) ms; (79.69±14.97) ms vs. (76.76±15.68) ms; (160.71±17.37) ms vs. (156.10±18.41) ms, respectively, all P<0.05]. Pearson correlational analysis revealed that PRs, PAs, AHs and HVs intervals were positively correlated with PR, PA, AH and HV intervals (r=0.830, 0.810, 0.772 and 0.920, respectively, all P<0.01). Conclusion His bundle potentials can be recorded on body surface Saah electrocardiogram.
