Abstract: Objective: The question of whether donor age impacts donor and recipient outcomes in adult-to-adult living related liver transplantation (LRLT) was rarely discussed. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of older donor age (>55) on donor and recipient outcomes in adult-to-adult LRLT. Methods：LRLT Clinical data of both recipients and donors of the transplantation department of Tianjin first central hospital were retrospectively evaluated from our 4 LRLT cases of older donor age (>55). Results： Postoperative recovery of liver function for donors and recipient/graft survival were not influenced by donor age except for one donor. Conclusion：Selected right lobe donors from individuals who were 55 years of age or older can be used in adult-to-adult LRLT.
