Abstract: Abstracts Objective: To explore expression and signification of FHIT mRNA in bladder transitional cell carcinoma(BTCC). Methods：We detected the expression of FHITmRNA in BTCC of 62 cases and normal bladder tissues of 35 cases by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Results：FHITmRNA is higher in the normal tissues than in bladder transitional cell carcinoma(BTCC),and FHIT Gene was relatively with the pathological grade. Conclusion：It is of great important role in the initiation and development of BTCC. FHIT gene may be a reference indicator of bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
