Abstract: Objective: To know the situation of rural health appropriate technology training effect and application in Tianjin. Methods: Taking the questionnaire on 2355 health technical personnel who have received 16 kinds of technologies training and were from rural three-tier institutions in Jixian County and Ninghe County. Gender, educational background, professional title, the situation of understanding, master and application were investigated. Results: The trained can understand and master the technology. 2 121 personnel used the technologies, accounting for 90.06% of the trained. 10 technologies were well applied. Conclusions: Rural health appropriate technology were understood, mastered, and applied with better.
