Abstract: 【Abstract】 Objective To compare the level of soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1) in different obesity standard women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), approaching the value of treatment and diagnose of different obesity standard in PCOS. Methods Selected 54 women with PCOS for experimental group, According to BMI≥24kg/m2 or(and)WHR≥0.8, all the subjects were respectively divided into obese A subgroup (BMI≥24kg/m2)、obese B subgroup(WHR≥0.8)、obese C subgroup (WHR≥0.8 and BMI≥24kg/m2)and non-obese A subgroup(BMI<24kg/m2)、non-obese B subgroup(WHR<0.8) 、non-obese C subgroup(BMI<24kg/m2 and WHR<0.8).Then compared the level of sICAM-1 between different obese subgroup and non-obese subgroup. Results 1.Serum sICAM-1 level in obese A subgroup was higher than non-obese A subgroup (P<0.05);2. Serum sICAM-1 level in obese B subgroup was higher than non-obese B subgroup (P<0.05);3. Serum sICAM-1 level in obese C subgroup was higher than non-obese C subgroup (P<0.05); 4. There was no significant deviation in serum sICAM-1 level between the patients with obese A subgroup and obese B subgroup and obese C subgroup (P>0.05);5. Serum sICAM-1 level in non-obese A subgroup was higher than non-obese B subgroup and non-obese C subgroup (P<0.05); There was no significant deviation in serum sICAM-1 level between the patients with non-obese B subgroup and non-obese C subgroup (P>0.05); 6. Serum sICAM-1 level had positive correlation with BMI,WHR(P<0.05),the dependablity between Serum sICAM-1 level and WHR exceeded the dependability between Serum sICAM-1 level and BMI. Conclusion Our study showed that the serum sICAM-1 level of PCOS patients is correlated to obesity, the affection of WHR ≥0.8 central obesity in sICAM-1 is even bigger, To hint: PCOS patients with central obesity possible to appear cardiovascular diseases. So we must control WHR to decrease the expression of sICAM-1, in order to prevent cardiovascular diseases.
