Ductal Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate(a case report and literature review)

Abstract: 【Abstract 】 Objective To reported a case of Ductal Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate g and the relevant literature was reviewed to investigate the diagnosis and treatment of this disease.evaluate the clinical and pathological characteristics treatment ,prognosis of ductal adenocarcinoma of the Prostate.Methods A 82-year-old male suffered from "frequency, urgency, 7 years, increased for 3 months" misdiagnosis of patients. His serum prostatic specific antigen(PSA)level was 2.38 ng?ml-1.transurethral prostatic resection,(TURP) was performed on him.Results The postoperative pathology showed a primary Ductal Adenocarcinoma.Gleason score was 8.With immunohistochemical staining,the tumor cells were positive for PSA ,PAP (prostatic acid phosphatase) ,CKAE and CKHW,but negative for androgen receptor.Postoperatively,the patient recovered fairishly but long-term effects need further follow-up.Conclusion Ductal Adenocarcinoma of the Prostate is a clinically rare subtype of prostate cancer and difficult to be found in early stage.The diagnosis depends on histopathologic and immunohistochemical studies.Radical prostatectomy is recommended for this disease.
