Abstract: Objective：Analyse different approaches in treating middle and distal femoral fracture in order to provide best approach. Methods：Use statistical methods to analyse different approaches in operation time, bleeding amount, postoperative range of motion(ROM) in knee in two groups. Results：There is significant difference in operation time, bleeding amount, postoperative ROM in knee in two groups .Anterolateral approach has more advantage. Conclusion：Anterolateral approach in treating middle and distal femoral fracture is better than lateral approach ,which has shorter operation time, less bleeding amount, lower infection rate and larger postoperative ROM in knee .
