Abstract: Abstract Objective To evaluate the effect of the gastrodin injection on the patients of acute cerebral infarction.Methods 146 cases of cerebral infarction were divided into trial group and control group.Serum superoxide(SOD)、malondialdehy(MDA)、nitric oxide(NO)and NO-synthase were assessed.The neurologic function at 1,3 and 7 days were assessed. Results The levels of above four indexes were not different between two groups before medication. The level of NOS in trial group was higher than control group in 3th day,but the level of MDA in trial group was lower than control group in 3th day. The levels of NOS、NO and SOD in trial group were higher than control group in 7th day,but the level of MDA in trial group was lower than control group.The neurologic function in trial group was better than control group.in 3th and 7th day.Conlusion Gastrodin injection piay the roie of protection on nerve cells and can ameliorate nerve function.
