Abstract: Objective: To explore the mechanism of inhibition effect of lycium barbarum polysaccharide (LBP) on blood vessel endothelium function damnification induced by DNTP. Method: The ex vivo aorta pectoralis vascular ring (EVAPVR) of rats and cultured human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) were incubated with DNTP for 30 min, LBP was used as protection and superoxide dismutase (SOD) was used as control. The endothelial-dependent relaxation reaction (EDRR), endothelial cell monolayer permeability (ECMP) and biochemical index were detected. Results: Vascular circle experimental result showed that LBP (10mg/mL) obviously reduced the inhibition of ACh-induced EDRR induced by DNTP(4.5μmol/L); Cell experimental result showed that LBP (10mg/mL) obviously reduced the ECMP and MDA, timproved the SOD and nitric oxide(NO) (P<0.05, respectively), the effect was corresponded on the SOD control(P>0.05, respectively). Conclusion: LBP inhibited the blood vessel endothelium function damnifivation induced by DNHP,which may be related to the oxidative stress.
