Acute myocardial infarction in the acute phase of Kawasaki disease in a school-aged boy: a case report

Abstract: Abstract: Kawasaki disease (KD) is a common systemic vasculitis of children, mainly involving coronary arteries. Since it was first reported in 1967, the cause of the disease is still unknown. This article reports a case of a 8-year-old school-aged boy with a giant coronary artery aneurysm (CAA) combined with myocardial infarction (MI) in the acute phase of KD.
