Abstract: Surgical treatment is important for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In recent years, video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS) and Robotic VATS (RVATS) have been widely used in the therapies for patients of early stage NSCLC and traditional thoracotomy is becoming less and less. Many patients with ground-glass note (GGN) can be cured by VATS and Robotic procedures, and which promotes the development of minimally invasive surgery. However, the treatment of GGN is controversial. This article makes a summary of the selection in single VATS, RVATS and lung segments for surgical procedures in NSCLC.
