Study on quality of life for perimenopausal women after different operations of uterus and ovary

Abstract: Abstract:Objective:To investigate the influence on quality of life for perimenopausal women whether reservation of ovary on the hysterectomy.Methods:Perimenopausal women with uterine or ovarian surgery for benign disease are divided into 3 groups.group A(40 cases): hysterectomy plus bilateral adnexectomy;group B(20 cases): hysterectomy plus ani-lateral adnexectomy;group C(40 cases): simple hysterectomy..The levels of FSH、LH、E2 were measured before operation and 2,6months after operation,and the symptoms of peri-menopausal period was observed in 2,6 months after the operation.Results:Blood hormones of group A were significantly differential compared with the group B(P<0.05),and more symptoms of prei-menopausal period.Blood hormones of group A were more significantly differential compared with the group C(P<0.05), and most symptoms of prei-menopausal period.Two months after operation decline in hormone levels of group B were significantly differential compared with the group C,but no significantly differential in 6 months after operation .No differences of symptoms of peri-menopausal period were observed between groups(P>0.05). Conclusion:Ovary removal in hysterectomy will appear more menopausal syndrome, so ovaries should be preserved and slow decline in hormone levels to delay the emergerce of menopausal syndrome and improve the quality of life of women.
