Abstract: The Expression and Clinical Significance of CD147 and MMP-2 in Cervical Cancer Xu Ya-hui, Wang De-hua Tianjin Medical Unervisity General Hospital. [Abstract] Objective : To study The Expression and Clinical Significanceof CD147 and MMP-2 in Cervical Cancer. Methods Using immunohistochemical SP method to detec t and analysis the expression of CD147 and MMP-2 in 20 cases of normal cervical tissue,21 cases of CIN tissue,59 cases of cervical cancer .Results 1.CD147 and MMP-2 were expressed mainly in cancerous lesions, but also expressed in some normal tissues. The expression of CD147 and MMP-2 in cancer group was significantly higher than the normal cervical group and CIN group(P<0.05). Positive expression rate of them were 91.5%和80.0%.2 Expression of CD147 in cervical cancer were related with lymphatic matastasis(χ2=4.138,P<0.05), not related with age, stage, gross type, the degree of differentiation, histological types (P> 0.05). Expression of MMP-2 were related with stage(χ2=9.423,P<0.05) and lymphatic matastasis (χ2=5.019,P<0.05), not related with age, gross type, the degree of differentiation, histological types(P> 0.05). 3. The relationship between CD147 and MMP-2 was positively correlated, and the correlation coefficient rs = 0.283 (P<0.05). Conclusion CD147 and MMP-2 plays an important role in cervical cancer invasion and metastasis,Combined detection of CD147 and MMP-2 may be a new target of cancer diagnosis to assess the severity of cervical cancer.
