Abstract: Abstract：Objectives To investigate the effects of atorvastatin on selllm concentration of PAPP—A and c-reative protein(CRP) levels in patients with acute coronary syndrome．Methods We measured the serum concentrations of PAPP-A、CRP levels before and after treatment with atorvastatin 20mg、10mg in 105 ACS cases and 90 cases of control group．Results PAPP-A and CRP levels in patients with ACS were significantly higher than control group patients before intervention. There was obvious difference of PAPP-A、CRP levels in atorvastatin 20mg group and atorvastatin 10mg group after one week treatment(P＜O．05). Conclusions PAPP-A and CRP levels in patients with ACS were significantly greater than control group. Atorvastatin can significantly reduce the PAPP-A and CRP levels in ACS patients, especially in atorvastatin 20mg group.
