环状 RNA 在心血管疾病中的研究进展

摘要: 摘要: 环状 RNA 是一类非编码 RNA, 呈共价闭合环状结构, 结构稳定、 高度保守, 具有组织特异性和发育阶段特异性表达的特征。环状 RNA 的功能仍不清楚, 目前认为其有以下功能: microRNAs 海绵、 调节剪切或转录、 与 RNA结合蛋白相互作用调节基因表达。有报道发现环状 RNA 在衰老、 胰岛素分泌、 组织发育、 动脉粥样硬化性血管疾病、 心肌肥厚和肿瘤中发挥重要作用。本文对环状 RNA 的结构、 分类、 功能及其在心血管系统疾病中的作用进行综述。

Abstract: Abstract: Circular RNA (circRNA) is a class of non- coding RNA that assumes a covalently closed continuous conformation. Recent studies have revealed that circRNAs are stable and widely expressed, and often exhibit cell typespecific or tissue-specific expressions. Emerging evidence indicates that some circRNAs can serve as microRNA (miRNA)sponges, regulate transcription or splicing, and can interact with RNA binding proteins. Moreover, circRNAs have been reported to play essential roles in myriad life processes, such as aging, insulin secretion, tissue development, atherosclerotic vascular disease, cardiac hypertrophy and cancer. Here, we review the current understanding of circRNA classification,function and significance in some cardiovascular diseases.
