Abstract: Abstract: Heart-type fatty acid-binding protein (H-FABP) is a small molecular protein, which is mainly expressed in heart and plays a key role in mitochondrial β oxidation through partitioning of long-chain fatty acids toward the mitochondria. Nowadays, H-FABP is clinically used for the early diagnosis of persistent myocardial injury and acute myocardial infarction (AMI). More and more studies have showed that H-FABP is closely related to the diagnosis and prognosis of acute coronary syndrome, heart failure and arrhythmia.
