Abstract: Radiomics, the high-throughput mining of quantitative image features from standard-of-care medical imaging that enables data to be extracted and applied within clinical-decision support systems to improve the predictive accuracy of diagnosis and prognosis, is gaining importance in cancer research. Radiomics utilizes complex image analysis capabilities of computer and massive amounts of medical imaging data, providing a powerful tool in modern medicine. This article briefly introduces the concept of radiomics and its research progress in the field of hepatocellular carcinoma.
