Runhe FENG. Organic selenium lowering blood glucose and blood lipid in rats[J]. .
Abstract: ABSTRACT Objective: To investigate the organic selenium on the hypoglycemic effect of high glucose in mice and hyperlipidemic mice with lipid-lowering effect. Methods: (1) 30 mice were randomly divided into 3 groups, control group, pathological model group and treatment group, treatment group received organic selenium protein powder, the control group received the same volume of water, taken after the last administration of blood to determine fasting blood glucose levels. (2) 30 mice were randomly divided into 3 groups, control group, high fat model group and treatment group, treatment group received organic selenium protein powder, fat control group and model group were given equal volume of water. After the last administration 2h, except control group, model group and treatment group mice were injected 75% egg yolk; 20h after the blood, serum TC, HDL, LDL, TG content. Results: (1) to prepare a successful model of diabetes, pathological model group and treatment group blood glucose levels were significantly higher; blood sugar treatment group was significantly lower than the pathological model group. (2) hyperlipidemia model group TC, LDL and TG were significantly higher than the treatment group and control group; treatment of the serum TC, LDL, TG levels were significantly lower than model group, treatment group, serum TC, LDL, TG levels were significantly higher or significantly. Conclusion: Organic selenium protein powder significantly reduced serum lipids and the role of blood glucose in diabetic mice.
Key words: Organic selenium, glucose, lipid
