Abstract: Noncompaction of ventricular myocardium (NVM) is a rare cardiomyopathy. In recent years, more and more cases have been reported due to the improvement of diagnosis of the disease, but most of them are dilated left ventricular noncompaction (LVNC), with few other types. This case was a hypertrophic and dilated LVNC. We hope to improve the diagnosis and treatment of the rare LVNC by combining the characteristics of this case with the summary of relevant literature.
