Abstract: [Abstract] Objection To investigate the relationship between small low-density loipoprotein particles and homocysteine in coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods Plasm lipids level ,small dense LDL percentage of total LDL and homocysteine level were measured in 109 patients who identified by coronary angiography, We explored the relationship between small, dense LDL level and homocysteine in different groups. Results The levels of TC,TG,LDL,small LDL and homocysteine were significantly higher in patients with CHD than those in controls (P<0.05).The level of HDL-C were lower in patients than those in controls (P<0.05).As the stenosis vessels increased, the sLDL and homocysteine leves also increased, Both sLDL and homocysteine leves might have positive correlation with the degree of coronary artery stenosis,we also found a positive correlation between sLDL and homocysteine. Conclusion there are positive correlation between sLDL and homocysteine .Both sLDL and homocysteine leves might have significan relationships with the degree of coronary artery stenosis.
