Abstract: Abstract Objective：To analyze the clinical features of emergency death case, and provide reference for the prevention and treatment. Methods：241 death cases in emergency department from April 1st, 2009 to April 1, 2010 were conducted by retrospective analysis. Results：The sudden death is the major cause of death. And the rank of death cause from 2 to 5 arranges as follows: cardiovascular, cerebrovascular diseases, end stage of chronic disease, cancer and lung infection. Conclusion: It is important and necessary to popularize and improve first-aid knowledge, as well as to pay attention to the prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.
