Abstract: [Abstract]  Objective  To investigate the expression and significance of EMMPRIN-MMPs-VEGF system in the
mouse model of breast cancer metastasis. Methods   The expressions of EMMPRINMMP-2MMP-9VEGFTIMP-1 and TIMP-2 were measured by immununohistochemistry (IHC) in lung metastasis of breast cancer model. Results  The expressions of EMMPRIN, MMP-2, MMP-9 and VEGF were all present in model mice. And the positive rates of EMMPRIN,MMP-2, MMP-9 and VEGF were significantly higher in metastasis group than those of non- metastasis group (P < 0.05).Conclusion   The components of EMMPRIN-MMPs-VEGF system cooperate with each other, and jointly promote tumor cell growth, invasion and metastasis in the mouse model of breast cancer metastasis.
