Yu-Qing LIU. The Study of Correlation of CHGA and ATGL in Patients of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus with Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease[J]. .
Abstract: Abstract Objective: to explore the relationship between plasma ChromograninA(CHGA ) and Adipose Triglyceride Lipase(ATGL) levels in patients of type 2 diabetes (T2DM) with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).Methods: The level of the plasma CHGA and ATGL was assayed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) in all subjects, patients of T2DM with NAFLD (group A), T2DM without NAFLD(group B)and normal group(group NC). Meanwhile, analysis their relationship with various metabolic index. Results:The plasma CHGA levels of group A and group B are significantly higher than that of group NC(P<0.01) , and its level of group A is higher than that of group B (P<0.01). The plasma ATGL levels of group A and group B are significantly lower than that of group NC(P<0.01) , and its level of group A is lower than that of group B (P<0.01).Correlation analysis showed that the plasma CHGA was negatively correlated to ATGL; meanwhile,it was positively correlated to fasting insulin(FINS),HOMA-IR, free fatty acids(FFA), fat oxidation rate and negatively correlated to carbohydrate oxidation rate;the plasma ATGL was negatively correlated to BMI,FINS,TC,TG,HOMA-IR and positively correlated to FFA. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that FINS、ATGL and FFA were independent variables of CHGA. Logistic regression analysis showed that plasma CHGA,ATGL and FFA levels were the independent predictors of T2DM with NAFLD.Conclusion: The plasma CHGA and ATGL levels is closely correlated with substance and energy metabolism, and the interaction between them may play an important role in the pathogenesis of T2DM with NAFLD .
