Application of asymmetric z-plasty in repair of incomplete unilateral cleft lip

Abstract: Objective:To explore the clinical application of asymmetric z-plasty in repair of congenital unilateral incomplete cleft lip. Methods:By individual design,65 patients with incomplete unilateral cleft lip were renewed lip height, repaired orbicular muscle of mouth and repaired nasal deformity. Results:The method was used in 65 patients, all cases were treated with primary healing. Followed up 6 months to 18 months,the ideal operative effects were obtained in all cases. Conclusion: the individual reconstruction of incomplete unilateral cleft lip is rational and simple,and is an ideal method for unilateral cleft lip repair.
