Expression and Correlated Analysis of autophagy-related proteins in Human squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma of lung

Abstract: Objective:To explore the expression of Beclin1、autophagy-related protein 1 (Atg1)、target of rapamycin (mTOR) in different squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) and adenocarcinoma of lung and relationship among the three factors. Methods: The expression of Beclin1、Atg1、mTOR in different human SCC and adenocarcinoma of lung were detected by immunohistochemical techniques .There were 17 cases of normal tissue,82 cases of lung cancer. Results: The expression of Beclin1 and Atg1 showed a tendency to increase from high differentiated SCC and adenocarcinoma of lung to low differentiated ones. But mTOR showed a tendency to decrease. Compared with the expression of Beclin1,the expression of Atg1 in SCC and adenocarcinoma of lung presented a positive correlation. And Compared with the one of mTOR,Beclin1 and Atg1 show a negative correlation. Conclusion:Autophagy is related with development and SCC and adenocarcinoma of lung.
