Abstract: Abstract:Ojective To study the antitumor effect of SEA and the distribution of the cytokine IFN-γ in vivo, and also to investigate the mechanism of killing cancer cells. Methods: Established the tumor xenograft model with S180 cells, and three groups were injected with SEA intraperitoneally (n=10),the fourth group was injected with normal saline intraperitoneally(n=10), measured the tumor volume, drawed growth curve and calculated inhibition ratio, detected the distribution of IFN-γ from different levels. Results:The inhibition ratio of the SEA high-concentration group is 44.00%,and the content of IFN-γ increased both in tissue and in serum(*p<0.05),There is also an obvious difference between the tumor weight and the tumor voume of SEA high-concentration group and the normal saline group. But the tumor weight and the tumor volume of SEA-high concentration group decreased obviously(*p<0.05). Conclusion:SEA has an obvious antitumor effect in S180 tumor, and SEA secrets a mass of cytokine IFN-γ to inhibit sarcoma180 cells.
