Abstract: Abstract Objective To investigate the relationship between adiponectin gene SNP +45 (T/G) polymorphism and oxidative stress in type 2 diabetes. Methods The SNP +45 (T/G) polymorphism of the selected 120 cases with T2DM patients was detected by PCR-RFLP. We detected serum 8-isoprostaglandinF2α concentrations by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method. Results There was no statistic difference of the serum 8-isoprostaglandinF2α concentration in adiponectin SNP45 site of GG, TG and TT genotype in type 2 diabetes. Conclusion There may be not significant relevance between adiponectin gene SNP +45 (T/G) polymorphism and oxidative stress in type 2 diabetes.
