Abstract: Abstract Objective:To reveal the relationship between plasma chemerin in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and inflammation. Methods: To select type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) patients 120 examples and healthy volunteers 60 examples as studied objects, according to the median of plasma TNF-α,we groupe type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) patients into high-grade group(A group) and low-grade group (B group), healthy volunteers as C group.Detect every group blood glucose, blood lipids, HbA1c, FINS, visceral adipose tissue,hs-CRP, TNF-α,IL-6, chemerin, count HOMA-IR and analyze the relationship of plasma chemerin and inflammation. Results: The level of plasma chemerin in group A and group B were significantly increased compared with controls( P<0.01), The level of plasma chemerin in group A were significantly increased compared with group B( P<0.01).Plasma chemerin level in T2DM with NAFLD was positively correlated with waist circumference、LDL-C、visceral adipose tissue、TNF-a、IL-6. Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that visceral adipose tissue、TNF-a、IL-6 were independent related fators in influencing the level of plasma chemerin. Conclusion:Chemerin in T2DM with NAFLD is associated with inflammation, which may contribute to the development of T2DM with NAFLD.
