    Abstract ( 1115 )   PDF (2132KB) ( 2265 )
【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the relationship between gene polymorphisms of leptin receptor and the serum level of lipids、LEPR、hypertension. Methods 170 subjects with EH and 77 controls without EH were involved in this study. serum LEPR level was measured by ELISA. The LEPR A109G and LEPR A223G genotypes were determined by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)and restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP). Results A significant differences in genotypes and allele frequencies of A109G、A223G polymorphisms were detected between EH subjects and controls. The plasma levels of TC and TG in subjects with A allele of the A109G were higher than subjects with G allele(p<0.05).The level of lipids was not affected by A223G polymorphism. LEPR level in the subjects with A allele was lower than the subjects with G allele. Conclusions LEPR gene mutation in 109 site and 223 site of exon 4 and 6 may be related with the EH. There was an obvious relationship within LEPR A109G mutation and high TC and TG level. The mutation A allele of 223 site shows lower levels of LEPR .

    Abstract ( 1852 )   PDF (2058KB) ( 2298 )
Objective:The research is designed to test and verify the correlation between the periodontal health and the control of control, weight index, and lipid level of patients with type II diabetes, during which special attention has been paid on the youth group (aged 14 - 44) and the elderly group (60 years old or above) .Methods:The selected hospitalized patients, in total of 229, were divided into two groups: the youth group (aged 14-44) and the elderly group (60 years old or above). Statistics employed in the research has been collected through the periodontal inspection, body-mass index calculation and hospital medical reports on glycated hemoglobin, total cholesterol, and triglyceride. Afterwards, a database has been established with the help of the software named Epdata. Eventually, the correlation between the periodontal health and glycemic control, weight index, and lipid level of the two groups has been verified based on the data analysis conducted through SPSS14.0 package. Results:Analysis on single factor showed that the difference between total cholesterol p < 0.001) and glycated hemoglobin (p < 0.001) has remarkable statistics meaning. And the differences among of triglycerides (p = 0.016), Overweight (p= 0.002), Obesity (p = 0.019) have statistics meaning. Or in other words, all the above factors were correlated with periodontal disease of the patients with type II diabetes. The logistic regression analysis on both groups showed that glycated hemoglobin ,triglycerides, overweight and obesity are the major reasons for periodontal disease in youth group. While the major reasons for periodontal disease go to the total cholesterol, glycated hemoglobin for the elderly group. Conclusion:As for the young patients with type II diabetes, Poor blood glucose control ,increases in obesity and triglyceride can probably lead up to periodontal disease. While the best prophylactic measure for aging population to reduce the incidence of periodontal disease is to control both blood glucose and total cholesterol.

    2011, 39 (3):  270-271 .
    Abstract ( 1954 )   PDF (1416KB) ( 2254 )
Abstract Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value of heart rate recovery after treadmill exercise test for coronary artery disease (CAD). Method: Patients suspected for CAD were divided into CAD group and non-CAD (NCAD) group according to coronary angiography. Each eighty-six subjects underwent treadmill exercise test for both CAD group and non-CAD (NCAD) group. Heart rate recovery and the ratio of heart rate reserve between two groups were calculated and compared. The sensitivity and specificity were compared among the heart rate recovery, combined the ST segment change and the heart rate recovery, the ST segment change criteria for the diagnosis of CAD. Result: The heart rate recovery、the fastest heart rate in exercise and the ratio of heart rate reserve were lower in the CAD group than that of NCAD group (P<0.05).The two diagnostic methods had the same sensitivity(P>0.05), but former had higher specificity and veracity(P<0.05). The two diagnostic methods combine had higher specificity and veracity (P<0.01). Conclusion: The combine of the ST segment change and the heart rate recovery after treadmill exercise test could improve the veracity of CAD. The abnormal heart rate recovery had important clinic significance for the diagnosis of CAD.

The clinical study of Uremia Clearance Granules-enema on uraemic itching
    2011, 39 (3):  272-274 .
    Abstract ( 1748 )   PDF (2130KB) ( 2324 )
Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of Uremia Clearance Granules-enema on uraemic itching. Methods: 83 patients were randomly divided into control group with 21 cases, activated carbon –enema group with 30 cases and Uremia Clearance Granules-enema group with 32 cases. All groups were treated with hemodialysis(3 times per week). Activated carbon-enema group and Uremia Clearance Granules-enema were either treated with additional enema. The uraemic itching was analyzed pre- or post-treatment,and BUN、Cr、UA、Hb、hs-CRP、Ca、P and PTH were detected respectively in the three groups. Results: Both enema groups have significantly effect on uraemic itching compared with the control group(P <0.05). However, uraemic itching was alleviated much better in the Uremia Clearance Granules-enema group (P < 0. 05). The BUN 、Cr、UA、hs-CRP、Ca、P and PTH were significantly improved in both enema groups(P < 0. 05). However, in comparing with Activated carbon-enema group, hs-CRP、PTH and Hb were improved more better(P < 0. 05). Conclusion: Uremia Clearance Granules-enema can effectively relieve uraemic itching and reduce the microinflammation state in hemodialysis patients.

    2011, 39 (3):  288-288 .
    Abstract ( 2520 )   PDF (709KB) ( 2278 )
Example of hospital admissions in children with cough 3 days to a local hospital because of abnormal physical examination of liver enlargement and the suspected presence of acute congestive heart failure, but given the appropriate treatment in the after-effects worse, they suspected the blood system disease Guer into our hospital. The patient is hospitalized, according to their symptoms and signs should be considered hepatosplenomegaly and pulmonary infection and, therefore Jicha liver function, suggesting that there is significantly abnormal liver enzymes, abdominal B-us show diffuse liver disease, liver and spleen increased bone marrow punctures were reported as hyperplasia of bone marrow of three lines, I no obvious abnormalities, combined with children HPVB19-PCR (+), it is considered man parvovirus B19 infection in infants caused by the outbreak of hepatitis as fast anti-virus, Liver, nutrition support, strengthen management and treatment of respiratory nursing. Children diagnosed, treatment is effective, rapid retraction of the liver and spleen, the liver function recovered well, better hospital. This drew the majority of clinicians should be aware, for infants and young children should pay special attention to liver enlargement of the spleen physical examination of the case, where the liver in children with splenomegaly should take into account both infected and uninfected infection factors, and timely liver blood tests function, in order to avoid misdiagnosis, delayed treatment.
